Modern Elite Training, founded by Jaydon Rodriguez, represents the pinnacle of soccer development in Miami. With Jaydon’s deep-rooted passion for the game and extensive experience, combined with the return of Director of Player Development Mathias Vallejo from his successful professional soccer career in Europe, our programs have been elevated to new standards of excellence.

Jaydon’s journey began as a player recognized for his outstanding talent, ranked #16 overall in Florida by Top Drawer Soccer and named one of the Top 50 forwards in the country. As a young athlete, he trained privately with some of the top coaches in South Florida and across the nation, observing that each coach had a unique specialization. These experiences inspired Jaydon to envision a more holistic approach to training, one that would integrate all aspects of the game—tactical, technical, and physical—to develop well-rounded, elite players.

After extensive conversations between Jaydon and Mathias, the two shared a vision for transforming Modern Elite Training into the premier destination for soccer development. Mathias, having played professionally in Malta with Hibernians FC and trained with the Chicago Fire MLS Academy, returned to Miami with a wealth of experience to lead and shape our coaching team. Together, they are committed to delivering a training program that not only develops players technically and tactically but also prepares them to thrive in high-pressure, game-realistic scenarios.

With strong connections to college and professional coaches, along with ties to top MLS Next academies such as Inter Miami CF, we ensure that every player has the pathway and support to reach the next stage in their soccer journey. Our goal is to provide each athlete with the resources, mentorship, and opportunities they need to achieve success, whether at the collegiate level, MLS Next, or the professional stage.
